The Eastern Visayas Consortium for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (EVCIEERD) served as partner agency and collaborator, conveying its strong support for rSCENE 2025, themed “Kauswagan: Harnessing Technology Towards Sustainable Development,” during its opening at Tandaya Hall, Catbalogan City.
Welcome message was delivered by the City Mayor followed by messages of support from Congressman Michael Tan, DOST Regional Director Dr. John Glenn D. Ocaña, DOST Undersecretary Engr. Sancho A. Mabborang and from partner agency, the EVCIEERD. Representing EVCIEERD BOD Chair Dr. Dennis C. De Paz, Dr. Analyn C. Españo affirmed the consortium’s continued support for future rSCENE initiatives.
Highlighting the event, DOST Secretary Dr. Renato U. Solidum Jr. delivered the keynote, calling for stronger collaboration to build resilient, tech-driven communities in the region.
