Bulletin EVSU holds Breast Cancer Awareness Forum

The Eastern Visayas State University Multipurpose Cooperative (EVSUMPC), in partnership with the university’s Gender and Development (GAD) Office and Medical Clinic, held a Breast Cancer Awareness Forum on October 27, 2025, at the Administrative Building Lobby.

Following the theme “Pink Partnership: Empowering Hope, Inspiring Strength a cooperative effort in raising awareness”, the seminar gathered various faculty members and students to promote the vital message that early detection saves lives.

Considering how the late diagnosis of Breast Cancer is a major factor leading to complications, the activity spotlighted the importance of raising awareness and promotes timely health interventions within the university community.

Also a part of said event were the inspiring testimonies from breast cancer survivors among the university’s faculty, staff, and administrators, who shared their personal journeys of survival and practical tips for early detection and wellness.

Through this initiative, the university highlights to its community the importance of preventive healthcare in maintaining overall health and wellness: a key aspect of building a healthier and more informed EVSU.
