Eastern Visayas State University’s Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (BSID) students brought home top recognitions after the 22nd Estilo de Vida Interior Design Competition held on November 8, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
Harold Lois T. Mendoza was hailed as the competition’s champion, receiving a plaque and ₱150,000 for his entry “Pintahabi,” capturing the essence of the competition’s theme, “HOSPITALITY: Design Lokal – Filipino Roots, Global Form.”
Emman Kirc D. Diola joined him in the Top 3 contestants’ final pitch and earned the title of 2nd Runner-Up for his work “Paglara: Threads of Home.” He received a plaque and ₱50,000 in recognition of his achievement.
Also adding to the university’s strong showing was Carl Lester B. Pangue, who placed among the Top 7 Semi-Finalists and received ₱10,000.
The Estilo de Vida Interior Design Competition is a national event that recognizes young Filipino designers for their creativity, innovation, and expression of cultural identity through interior design.
EVSU congratulates its Interior Design students for bringing pride to the university through their outstanding achievements in this year’s competition.
