EVSU, through its Innovation Office, was conferred its 4th Platinum Award and a Special Citation Award during the ITSO Presidents’ Summit and General Assembly 2026 held on March 25, 2026 in Iloilo City.
The Platinum Award is granted to institutions that consistently meet the highest standards under the ITSO Clustering Framework, recognizing EVSU’s sustained performance in intellectual property (IP) generation, capability building, and technology transfer initiatives. This distinction affirms the University’s strong institutional commitment to advancing research, innovation, and commercialization.
Moreover, EVSU was honored with a Special Citation Award in recognition of its diligent efforts in intellectual property protection, particularly for successfully filing at least ten (10) patent applications. This milestone demonstrates the University’s sustained efforts to protect its innovations while building and enhancing its intellectual property portfolio.
These recognitions underscore EVSU’s continuing leadership in promoting a culture of innovation and its significant contribution to the national agenda on intellectual property development and technology transfer.
