News EVSU hosts APEN FY 2026 Board of Directors meeting and general assembly

EVSU welcomed delegates from across Asia as it hosted the Fiscal Year 2026 Board of Directors Meeting and General Assembly of the Asia Professional Education Network (APEN) at the EVSU Graduate School.

Carrying the theme, “Enhancing Digital Transformation in the Global South,” the gathering served as a platform for academic leaders and higher education institutions to strengthen collaboration, exchange best practices, and advance digital transformation initiatives that address the evolving needs of education in the region.

The event was presided over by Dr. Hiroshi Hashimoto, Chairperson of APEN and representative of the Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology, Japan, who led the discussions on the network’s strategic directions and future initiatives.

Representing EVSU President Dr. Dennis C. De Paz was Dr. Analyn Españo, Vice President for Academic Affairs, reaffirming the University’s commitment to strengthening international academic partnerships and innovation.

The successful hosting of the APEN FY2026 Board of Directors Meeting and General Assembly reflects EVSU’s continuing pursuit of internationalization through the Office of the Vice President for Internationalization and External Affairs, particularly through the efforts of the Director for Internationalization for Higher Education, Prof. Faustito A. Aure, together with the unwavering support of University President Dr. Dennis C. De Paz.

By bringing together international education leaders under one venue, EVSU further strengthens its role as a globally engaged institution, promoting collaborative initiatives that contribute to quality education, innovation, and sustainable development in the Global South.
