An extension activity titled “Seminar-Workshop on the Use of Technology in Text Translation, Editing, and Proofreading of Translated Texts” was conducted on September 25, 2026, at the Ordex Training Room, Eastern Visayas State University. The event was attended by guests and participants from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The seminar-workshop aimed to expand the participants’ knowledge and skills in leveraging technology as a tool for translation, as well as in the proper editing and proofreading of translated materials. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, participants gained a deeper understanding of the translation process and the critical importance of meticulous text evaluation and revision.
This initiative marks a significant step toward a more efficient, clear, and impactful application of language and technology in translation practice.
