News EVSU Organizes Kadiwa Agri and Trade Fair

In celebration of the 17th Charter Anniversary of the Eastern Visayas State University, the Office of Extension Services organizes a Kadiwa Agri and Trade Fair from August 25-27, 2021 at the EVSU Main Campus grounds.

This 3 day activity intends to gather MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), Cooperatives, Farmers/ Farmers’ Groups, NGOs, Business Start Up Owners and in Tacloban City and nearby Municipalities to showcase and promote their products and services to reach out to a wider market. This Agri and Trade fair is also conducted to provide non-traditional and alternative means for various entrepreneurs to market their products even in these challenging times.

Almost 20 Exhibitors has signed up to participate in said Agri and Trade Fair. These MSMEs are under the supervision of and being supported by the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Trade and Industry. This activity is also co-presented by the City Government of Tacloban, BFAR, TINGOG Party List.

Community residents from surrounding Barangays, i.e, Brgys 43-A, 43-B, 44 of Quarry District, Young Field and Apitong areas are invited to visit the Agri-trade Fair and avail of low prices of Agri and Non -Agri products and support our local Farmers and Producers.

Fresh Vegetables, fruits, popular and rare ornamental plants and other Agri and non-agri products will be sold at low and discounted prices.
