PROGRAM MISSION

To develop competent Electronics Engineers that serves the society and contributes for the sustainable development through high quality education in the field of electronics engineering.


PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

The graduates of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering in Eastern Visayas State University will be:

PEO1.  Competent electronics engineering professionals in diverse fields of specialization such as manufacturing, navigation, telecommunications, information technology, biomedical, instrumentation and control, and Building Management Systems.

PEO2. Developed a sense of professional and ethical responsibility, and social awareness for a better society and environment.

PEO3.  Involved in lifelong learning through continuous professional development.


PROGRAM OUTCOMES

  1. Apply knowledge of mathematics and science to solve electronics engineering problems in manufacturing, navigation, telecommunications, information and communications technology, biomedical instrumentation and control, academe, building management systems, and broadcasting.
  2. Design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
  3. Design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints in accordance with standards.
  4. Function in multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
  5. Identify, formulate, and solve electronics engineering problems.
  6. Understand professional and ethical responsibility.
  7. Communicate effectively electronics engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large.
  8. Understand the impact of electronics engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context.
  9. Recognition of the need for, and engage in life-long learning.
  10. Know contemporary issues.
  11. Ability to use techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for electronics engineering practice.
  12. Knowledge and understanding of engineering and management principles as a member and leader of a team, and to manage projects in a multidisciplinary environments.
