Amid the pandemic, the Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) joined the National Nutrition Council (NNC) in celebrating the 47th Nutrition Month Kick-off activity with the theme “Malnutrisyon Patuloy na Labanan, First 1000 Days Tutukan”.

This year, the theme calls for continued efforts to address malnutrition in the country as it was worsened by the grip of pandemic. The event was spearheaded by the College of Technology through unveiling a Nutrition Month tarpaulin during the Flag raising ceremony on July 07, 2021.

Dr. Dennis C. De Paz, University President, led the ceremony together with Dr. Lydia M. Morante, Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Deans of the different colleges and select faculty members.

EVSU joins other educational institutions in the country to promote a healthy lifestyle amidst the hurdles of COVID-19 pandemic.
