29 EVSU faculty members were recommended and qualified to attend the UPOU training “Gearing up for the New Normal: Teacher Training on Flexible Learning.” Topics learned from UP Open University and Commission on Higher Education training were utilized to establish the essential concepts in flexible learning relevant towards their own University. Attendees in the aforementioned training were assigned to carry out a re- entry action project as a result of this.
The re-entry training course developed by the 29 EVSU faculty attendees of the UPOU training is entitled “Gearing up for the Next Normal: An Echo-Training on Flexible Learning.” The training’s goal is to provide faculty attendees with more expertise about flexible learning and its aspects. This will allow educators who participated to create a curriculum pack employing their established educational materials and the online learning materials developed in Gearing up for the Next Normal: Teacher Training on Flexible Learning. Faculty trainers’ roles are to manage and lead faculty attendees in applying what they have learned in training and design and the implementation of a curriculum pack. During this Virtual Epoch of academic learning, educators must be prepared with teaching munitions to expedite learners’ knowledge and skills acquisition. Eastern Visayas State University faculty who will participate will have the opportunity to engage in this program and understand better about current innovations in the realm of flexible learning.
The training consists of synchronous sessions in which the resource speaker will deliver a presentation as well as provide linkage to open educational resources (OERs) developed during the GNN: Training of Teachers on Flexible Learning, as well as asynchronous sessions in which attendees will complete their formative assessment. During the synchronous sessions, the appointed resource speaker will provide additional knowledge on the OERs and respond to questions that attendees may have. Participants will be divided into groups based on the subjects they have handled and proven when creating their curriculum bundle. A prize will be awarded to the team that develops the effective full course pack. Grading rubric for the learning exercises will be created by the resource speakers.
The course is divided into 10 modules. The following are the schedule of training programs for each module:

The training program’s goal is to explore and establish the most suitable flexible learning paradigm for EVSU learners by emphasizing a learner-centered perspective in constructing the institution’s most relevant paradigm. Create a multimedia delivery curriculum pack. To facilitate effective acquisition, combine various instruments into learning practices.
To fulfill the above-mentioned targets, the training plan includes the following key parts: identifying significant participants who will fulfilled the inclusion criteria, and grouping by expertise. Participants should be given access to Open Educational Resources (OERs) and educational tools. Perform synchronous and asynchronous sessions; complete and complete the relevant educational exercises for each module. This training will assist educators in creating an effective learning environment, improving teaching-learning scenarios in the new normal education system, staying updated on modern pedagogical devices, and inspiring other educators to become effective instructors in the modern world of education.
