Abstract

Social networking sites have altered the world in an age of growing technological technologies. The existence of information communication technology has fundamentally altered how individuals communicate with one another and with the businesses that serve them. The researchers were urged to conduct this study in order to facilitate communication between the Student Affairs Office and the Student Organization Community at Eastern Visayas State University-Tacloban City through the use of an online community platform. This project sought to engage all members of the campus community, particularly the Student Affairs Office and student organizations, and to transform information dissemination from bulletin boards to the web, which would reach a broader audience and assist them in managing their daily transactions more efficiently. Additionally, it assists prospective students interested in admission to EVSU in selecting the most appropriate course of study for them, referred to in the system as the course matcher. The proponents addressed the software system to be created using an agile software development scrum approach. The data collection process included observations and interviews with its relevant clientele, which will contribute to the resolution of the situation at hand. The researchers found that the establishment of the system will aid in the efficient and effective fulfillment of the Student Affairs Office and Student Organizations' responsibilities to university members. Additionally, the researchers urge that the system's functions be upgraded in response to the client's immediate needs.
