Abstract
Dissemination of information is vital to an organization's daily operations in order to share it with the community or inside the confines of their locality. The DOST-8 Regional Office is located in Palo, Leyte, and its principal objective is to strengthen information on the agency's programs and services not only within reachable areas, but also in remote places where new updates on various agency specifics are few. The primary reason for doing this study is to establish an Online Portal Inquiry System that can be utilized to access information about DOST VIII activities and services by its scholars and stakeholders, with respondents able to inquire either online or by SMS messaging. As a result, it will be easier for the community to obtain information about the services provided by the agency. The data collection process was used to generate ideas for the study's concept and to better understand the flow and purpose of the study, particularly in terms of disseminating information about the organization's activities and services to the community. The researchers utilized an iterative model to finish the process of establishing the project because it is a good tool for developing the study's goal and because it allows for speedy consideration of iterations offered by the respondent. Online Portal Inquiry for DOST 8 Programs and Services with SMS Features benefits rural and urban areas by facilitating the spread of information about the said agency's programs and services and providing updates on any news to DOST scholars. Additionally, it provides a convenient and effective means of storing information about beneficiaries and the community (e.g., business owners of SMEs, LGU, BLGU, and small organization).
