Tacloban City – The Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), conducted an orientation designed to enhance the procurement-related competencies of office secretaries in the main campus.
The session focused on the preparation of the Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP), with emphasis on timelines, formats, and consolidation procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance in submissions.
The orientation was anchored on the importance of effective market scoping and supplier profiling, alongside the use of practical tools and techniques for gathering reliable market data.
By equipping office secretaries with updated knowledge and practical skills, the orientation reflects EVSU’s commitment to strengthening transparency, accountability, and efficiency in its procurement processes.
