Bulletin EVSU conducts campus-wide fogging as preventive measure against Dengue

In response to the recent influx of dengue cases across the region, Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) has taken proactive steps to curb the spread of the disease.

On September 27, 2024, the university conducted fogging operations across its main campus to target Aedes mosquitoes, the primary carriers of the dengue virus.

To ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff, all classes for the day were shifted to synchronous mode, while regular campus transactions were temporarily suspended. Normal operations resumed on Monday, September 30.

The fogging activity formed part of the university administration’s broader preventive measures to protect the health and well-being of its academic community.

By taking proactive action, EVSU once again reinforces its commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy, and dengue-free learning environment.
