News EVSU Showcases Three Innovative Programs at the 1st AUAP–WURI Impact Summit 2026 in Bangkok

Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) continues to strengthen its commitment to innovation and global academic excellence as three of its flagship programs have been selected for presentation at the 1st AUAP–WURI Impact Summit 2026 (AWIS), scheduled on July 9–10, 2026, at ICONSIAM in Bangkok, Thailand.

The invitation to participate comes as part of the initiative to further enhance the University’s visibility in the AUAP–WURI Joint World University Ranking 2026, highlighting innovative projects, best practices, and successful institutional initiatives that create meaningful societal impact.

Representing EVSU are three distinguished project leaders who presented the University’s transformative programs:

  1. EVSU’s Model for Scalable Community Transformation: A Tri-Sectoral Partnership for Social Impact through Knowledge Transfer
    Project Leader and Presenter: Rey Ronald G. Macauba

 

  1. Triple Helix Platform for Innovation: University–Government–Industry Collaboration for the On-the-Job Training of EVSU Students
    Project Leader and Presenter: Mia Gretz A. Ramirez

 

  1. Makers of Education Success in Technological Skills, Reading, Arithmetic, and Health (MaESTRAH Program)
    Project Leader and Presenter: Shirley M. Siozon

 

The participation of these three innovative projects highlights EVSU’s continuing pursuit of excellence in instruction, research, innovation, and extension. Through the AUAP–WURI Impact Summit, the University joins higher education institutions from across the globe in sharing impactful practices that contribute to sustainable development and transformative education.

As EVSU gains international recognition through these initiatives, the University further affirms its role as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and positive societal change, bringing pride not only to Eastern Visayas but also to the Philippines on the global stage.
