A virtual ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) and State Universities (SUCs) and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) was conducted on August 25, 2021, via Zoom. It sealed collaboration of the parties involved on the provision of capability building programs and initiatives in the region.

The aforementioned MOU signing is one of the highlights of the ILCDB Partners Summit conducted by the ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau of DICT Visayas Cluster 2. Anchored on the theme, “Forging Excellence in ICT Capability Building Amidst the Pandemic through Stronger Ties”, the said summit aims to strengthen the enabling and supportive relationships between DICT and the academe.

Also present during the virtual MOU signing are LNU, BiPSU, SLSU, UEP, CTU, HNU, and other SUCs in the Visayas area.
