EVSU President Dennis C. De Paz attended the Regional Futures Consortium Workshop: High level Anticipatory Leadership and Governance Executive Course at BIPSU Gymnasium Naval Campus, Naval Biliran.
With him to represent the University were key officials Dr. Danilo Pulma, VP for Internationalization and External Affairs, and Prof Faustito A. Aure, Director for Internationalization for Higher Education.
This synchronous executive course is divided into five modules: history and key concepts; theories of social change and anticipatory governance frameworks; anticipatory governance tools and methods; case studies on anticipatory leadership and governance; and scanning using the regional futures framework.
The Philippine Futures Thinking Society, Biliran Province State University, The Futures Thinking Consortium of Higher Education Institutions in Eastern Visayas, and the Office of Senator Pia Cayetano, Chairperson Committee on Sustainable Development, Goals, Innovation, and Futures Thinking, collaborated to make this workshop a reality.
The online workshop via Zoom was scheduled on the 15th and 16th of February.
