Eastern Visayas State University has officially reached its 200th Scopus-indexed publication, as reported by GHF University Excellence.
Scopus data shows that the university’s published works span various key disciplines, led by Computer Science (76), Engineering (55), Social Sciences (54), Decision Sciences (50), and Mathematics (40), representing the collaborative efforts of over 311 EVSU authors.
Building momentum in its research front, EVSU has produced 31 Scopus-indexed publications in 2026, ranking 5th in Eastern Visayas for research productivity as of September 20, 2026. This marks a steady upward surge as the university inches closer to surpassing its previous record of 43 Scopus-indexed papers set in 2025
Following EVSU’s inclusion in this year’s Times Higher Education rankings, the university continues to expand its research efforts through active inter-institutional partnerships, academic symposiums, and capacity-building initiatives that empower both faculty and non-teaching personnel to engage in meaningful research and extension work.
