The Eastern Visayas State University submitted its different programs for virtual accreditation to the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) for the Level 3 and 4 on November 21-23, 2022 and November 21-25, 2022 for Level 1 and 2 programs respectively.
Prof. Renato E. Martija, the Director of the University Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center (UQAAC), IMASO and UQMR facilitated the said undertaking.
The programs under survey for Level 3 and 4 were Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering-
4th Survey Phase 2; Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering- 3rd Survey Phase 2; and Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering- 3rd Survey Phase 2 for the Main Campus.
Meanwhile, the Carigara Campus submitted the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship for
3rd Survey Phase 2; Bachelor of Science in Information Technology-3rd Survey Phase 2; Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Math and Physical Science -3rd Survey Phase 2 and Bachelor of Science in Fisheries-3rd Survey Phase 2 respectively.
On the other hand, the Level 1 and 2 programs of the Main campus, Tanauan Campus,and Burauen Campus were done on November 21-25, 2022.
The Bachelor of Elementary Education of EVSU-Main Campus had its 1st Survey Visit while the Burauen Campus had its Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship for 2nd Survey Revisit Areas II, V, VII, VIII and IX and the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration for 2nd Survey Revisit Areas II, III, VII, VIII, IX and X.
Moreover, Tanauan Campus submitted its Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Major in Electrical Technology for 2nd Survey Revisit Areas II, III, IV, VI, VII, VIII and IX; Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics for 1st Survey; Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Technology major in Automotive Tech., Welding and Fabrication for 1st Survey and the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Major in Culinary Arts, Electronics Technology for 1st Survey.
The University Key Officials, through Dr. Dennis C. de Paz,the University President, were confident that the programs under survey will pass the standards set by AACCUP.
