Demonstrating technological ingenuity and social entrepreneurship, student-innovators from EVSU Main Campus secured a spot in the Top 60 of the prestigious Enactus Philippines National Competition 2026.
Out of more than 200 competitive entries submitted by universities across the nation, the EVSU team—composed of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students Peter Jade Talabucon, Louigie B. Guillera, and Ramcez James L. Fat, under the guidance of coach Prof. Wit Excelsior T. Paña—shined with their landmark project entry, the ElectroKit.
The ElectroKit is a portable, modular electronics laboratory equipped with an interactive troubleshooting application designed to make technical education more accessible, practical, and hands-on for learners. The project highlights student-driven technology aimed at bridging resource gaps in STEM and technical education.
Co-presented by Khan Academy Philippines and co-hosted by the Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development (LSEED) Center at De La Salle University, the Enactus National Competition serves as a premier incubator for social enterprises that harness innovation to solve real-world community challenges.
Although the team fell short of reaching top 30, they represented EVSU’s steadfast commitment to fostering digital transformation, tech-driven entrepreneurship, and practical research solutions that empower student creators on a national scale.
Congratulations, EVSUnistas!
