The Eastern Visayas State University and the Department of Interior and Local Government,Region VIII conducted an Orientation-Seminar on Data Collection for Field Interviewers, May 17-19 at the ORDEXs Training Hall.
It can be recalled that EVSU and DILG entered a Memorandum of Agreement on the fielding of the Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS) Project in Tacloban City last March 13, 2023. Thus, the conduct of the activity.
In preparation for the fieldwork, 15 field interviewers were oriented on Interviewing Procedure and Data Processing.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Madeja highlighted the importance of the work done by FIs for the success of this national project by DILG.
Ms. Jenna de Asis Negros, DILG CSIS Focal Person, attended the orientation. She gave a walkthrough of the CSIS project: objectives, methodologies, questionnaire overview, interview design, and procedures.
The EVSU team to work on the said DILG-funded project are Dr. Jovito B. Madeja as Project Supervisor; Dr. Gabino P. Petilos and Dr. Richard S. Brun as Field Supervisors; Dr. Thea C. Galos as Data Processor; Mr. Michael Joseph C. Sabino and Mary Grace H. Aruta as Technical Support.
