Director Sheldon Ives Agaton of EVSU Burauen stepped up to help the host Municipality by donating face shields and a share of its campus’ produce. Through the efforts of Agriculture Department Head Dr. Aileen Tacbalan and IGP Head Mr. Manuel Refuerzo, rootcrops such as Taru (gaway) and Cassava (balanghoy) were received by the Municipality Disaster Risk Reduction (MDRRM) Office on March 25, 2020. Director Agaton also shared that on the same day, the campus’ locally produced face shields were also turned over to the Rural Health Unit of Burauen, whose frontliners are in-charge with monitoring the municipality’s PUIs and PUMs.
