EVSU President Visited Ormoc City for a “Better and Revitalized” University

Dr. Dennis de Paz visited EVSU Ormoc City Campus last July 15, 2021. He was warmly welcomed by the Campus Director, Dr. Danilo Pulma, together with its faculty and staff. A short program followed wherein Dr. Pulma presented the highlights, accomplishments, and plans of EVSU-OCC for the year 2021-2023. Afterwards, President de Paz gave a message encouraging the academic community to work together for a better and revitalized university in the performance of its four-fold functions.

The University President also paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Richard Gomez, the Mayor of Ormoc City. He extended his gratitude to the good mayor for the unending support given to EVSU-OCC and further expressed a more sustained collaboration and partnership with the local government of Ormoc City. He also offered Hon. Gomez a teaching stint at the Graduate School of the university where the Honorable Mayor gladfully accepted. Moreover, he also attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of gate structures at the Main Campus and Patag Campus.

Dr. de Paz was joined by Academician Alvin Culaba, EVSU RDE Consultant; Dr. Gerry de Cadiz, Dean of the College of Business and Entrepreneurship; Prof. Christopher Bacungan, Planning Director; and Arch. Rommel Hidalgo, Head of PPIDO.
