News EVSU Receives PRIME-HRM Maturity Level II Bronze Award ; Officials and Personnel Join CLLEV Leadership Training

The Eastern Visayas State University proudly received today, April 15, 2026, the PRIME-HRM Accreditation (Bronze Award) from the Civil Service Commission during the Conversation with Local Leaders in Eastern Visayas (CLLEV) held at JPark Island Resort & Waterpark, Cebu City.

The recognition, granted under CSC Resolution No. 2500371 dated May 7, 2025, affirms EVSU’s compliance with Level 2 maturity indicators of the PRIME-HRM framework, highlighting the university’s commitment to excellence in human resource management systems and practices.

The award was formally received by University President, Dr. Dennis C. De Paz and Vice President for Administration, Finance and Auxiliary Services Dr. Lydia Morante, together with other EVSU officials and personnel representing the entire institution in the prestigious event.

In conjunction with the awarding ceremony, 21 EVSU officials and personnel participated in the 2-day CLLEV seminar-training. The activity focused on enhancing leadership capabilities and providing updates on Civil Service Commission policies, rules, and regulations.

Their participation reflects EVSU’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its Learning and Development System, ensuring that its workforce remains competent, responsive, and aligned with national standards in public service.

This milestone marks another step forward for EVSU as it continues to uphold quality governance, professional development, and institutional excellence.
