Non-Teaching Personnel unleash flair in dancing, singing; New VP-Admin designee wows audience

Splendid, breath-taking, and incredible are the words that the audience uttered to sum up the Vice-President for Administration and Finance Day, August 17 at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon at Eastern Visayas State University’s auditorium.

In the said event, the Non-Teaching Personnel unleashed their dancing and singing prowess in the form of a Variety Show. The upbeat production number of the Go-Go Getters set the audience’s mood to groove.

The vocal rendition of the Vice-President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Benedicto T. Militante, Jr., brought resounding applause and left the audience in awe.

The succeeding performances of “Thou Shall Stay Band”, the dance number of “Elite Movers,” “EVSU Angels,” and the special number of “Peculiar Alley Band” enliven the crowd.

Meanwhile, the inspiring and soothing duet of the Father and Daughter Tandem of Mr. Juanito Morcilla and Ms. Giselle Janna Joyce Morcilla climaxed the event.

Furthermore, the violin rendition of Ms. Elaine Patricia Sarabia, the Song Performance of Ms. Kween Deypalan, Ms. Mary Dimple Cabioc, Ruby Mancio, and Rodel Chuca serenaded the audience in their finest bits.

In addition, the Trio of Ms. Vilma Ramirez, Ms. Nerissa Dialino, and Ms. Leah Beleña, the Special Performance of EVSU Singing and Dancing Guards, and the Choral Rendition of the Admin and Finance enfolded the activity in bliss.

The University President, Dr. Dennis C. de Paz, was elated in his speech and expressed his full confidence to the Administration and Finance Unit that it will serve as a support unit to the academe and the Eastern Visayas State University services to stakeholders.

“Together, we can bring EVSU to greater heights, “he said. “All of us are talented in our unique way. We just need to discover it”, he further added.

Dr. Doris Ann S. Espina, the Chief Administrative Officer of the University, wrapped up the activity with her closing remarks.
