TWO student artists took major prizes in their respective competitions during the said event. Ms. Raquel Ador and Mr. Jethro Acero, BS Marketing 4th-year students, both won FIRST PLACE in spoken word poetry and poster making contests, respectively.
The other contestant, Ms. Miyuka Andrea Narca, received a certificate of participation in the essay writing competition. The said participants were coached by Prof. Darwin G. Navarossa and Prof. Charlie A. Ripalda. The event was participated by 4th year BS Marketing students along with students and administrators from the different SUCs in the region.
The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office – 8 (CHEDRO-8), in partnership with the Council of Deans and Educators in Region 8 (CODEB-8) and Council of Economics Educators in Region 8 (CECON-8), hosted the virtual activity with the theme: “PADYAK: Moving Forward, Claiming Victory for Philippine Higher Education in the ASEAN Community” last August 24-31, 2021.
