Description of the Program

The Home Economics program is directed to Home Economics teachers in the specialized areas of the discipline for pre-school, elementary, secondary, tertiary, and adult education and training.

Goals and Objectives

1. To upgrade the competencies of teachers, particularly in the knowledge and skills in the area of home economics, and
2. To broaden their range of knowledge in different areas of home economics for competent performance and leadership in research, extension, instruction, supervision and administration of academic and non-academic programs and activities.
